Holster Sheath (flap Closure) Upgrade

    I just finished this. Made from 8-9 oz Chocolate Water Buffalo. Custom cut welt and hand stitched through 5 layers of leather.

    That's some nice leather work. I love the way the welt looks. It's so thick it almost looks like a holster. Thanks for sharing Eric.

    @ToddR Thanks. Yes to the welt. 5 layers all polished up gave it a great look I thought. Sadly I needed to go by a new Dremel 3000 with the drill press option to make the holes for stitching but I'm getting over it slowly :)

    Yeah, i hear ya. It's just gut wrenching to have to go buy new tools. You don't want them but what can you do right? You try so hard to make due without it. Sometimes you even spend 3 or 4 minutes trying to make something else work. But once you start talking about 5 minutes of time, you realize, there's no point. You have to go buy it. Sad, for sure, but we're all here for you. : )

    Of course, in my house every new tool means a free pass on a new pair of shoes she wants. What can you do right. Personally i think it's petty to keep score like that but I never seem to win those arguments.
