    It is a bit early for me to start building knives but a fellow wanted a kitchen knife so while I was at it I made
    two of them.
    BLADE - forged 1080/15N20 in crushed W's then laddered
    Handles - Iron wood

    I have to ask though @FORGE why is this early for you to start making knives, thought you were a full time year round guy?

    I forge in the spring and fall,shoot and fish all summer and make knives in the winter.
    Remember summer in this country is ONLY 3 months long.

    Right about now I'm thinking about a place where there is no summer... at all. Who else is sick of this heat. Ontario has been an oven. I can't stand in my shop for more than 20 minutes without feeling feint.

    Great looking knives Cal!
    Did you go with brass or is that stainless with the ambient light making it look brassy. Either way they are dazzling.
